Walailak Songkran Delivery "Sending a Happy Thai New Year"
On April 7-8, 2022, Walailak Abode of Culture together with The center of Academic services Walailak University watering activities to make blessings and give souvenirs to the elderly in the Walailak Pattana Demonstration Community on the occasion of the “Walailak Songkran Festival Prof. Dr. Sarawut Paliphot, Acting Vice President, Asst. Prof. Jirapat Nawarat Deputy Director of Walailak University Medical Center Hospital, Mr. Somchoke Nongnuan, Director of Satit Walailak Pattana Community Health Promoting Hospital and Mr. Suwit Kaewklang, Village Headman, Village No. 8, Thai Buri Sub-district, presented souvenirs to the elderly in the community, Village No. 6, Hua Taphan Sub-district, and Village Village No. 8, Thai Buri Sub-district, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, amounting to 100 people under measures to prevent the spread of disease infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19)
Walailak Abode of culture organizes Walailak Songkran activities every year, but due to the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the year 2022 and the trend continues to increase. The university is aware of the safety of the elderly. which is a high risk group for infection Therefore, the activity has been adjusted to Walailak Delivery, giving souvenirs instead of organizing activities like in the past year. but still maintains the good traditions of Thailand
